International Educators, it provides an overview of the US higher
education system.

International Educators, this brochure provides information on the US
monetary system and how to make arrangements to transfer funds for
living and educational expenses.

- Published by NAFSA, the Association of
International Educators, this brochure provides an introduction to the
US health care system.

- This site contains a large list of resources for study abroad,
some of it from a US perspective.

- Short briefings on the customs and cultures of more than 100 countries.
- Study in the USA
- Study in the USA provides international students with information about
hundreds of universities, colleges and English language programs in the
United States. The Resource Guide provides students
with helpful information about American education, including articles about
getting a visa, choosing a program and an Online Advisor. Study in the USA
appears in English, Spanish and Japanese.
Study in the USA publishes international admissions magazines that provide information about American
education to international students. They distribute seven regional
magazines annually, including Northeast Asian, Southeast Asian,
Japanese, Latin American/Spain, Middle Eastern, and European
editions. They also publish Summer Study in the USA, that provides information about short-term programs and is
distributed worldwide.

- This site has good sections on cross-cultural communication.
- WorldWide Classroom
- WorldWide Classroom provides an extensive
planning guide
for study and travel abroad.
The site also contains links to educational programs around
the world, organized by country and by program category. Program
categories include university study, adult enrichment, foreign
language immersion, teen camps, volunteerism, and internships, among
others.
