- AFS Intercultural Programs, Inc.
- AFS is an international non-profit organization that provides
intercultural learning opportunities to help promote international
understanding and a peaceful world. Among other programs, they offer
the
AFS Global Classroom.
- American Institute for
Foreign Study (AIFS)
-
Founded in 1964, the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS)
organizes study abroad and cultural exchange programs for more than
40,000 US and international students each year.
Each year AIFS offers 100 semester scholarships of
$1,000 each (50 during the fall semester and 50 during the spring semester)
and
10 summer scholarships of $500 each. AIFS also offers one full minority
scholarship and five $1,000 grants to minority students each semester.

- Institute of International Education (IIE)
- The IIE is a nonprofit organization that promotes international
education. They publish several useful guides, including Funding for US
Study: A Guide for Foreign Nationals,
English Language and Orientation Programs (a guide to ESL
programs in the US),
Academic Year Abroad,
and Vacation Study Abroad. Books can be ordered by calling

They also provide information about the USA Fulbright Program
through their affiliate, the
Council for the International Exchange of Scholars (CIES).

- IEF is non-profit organization that helps schools recruit
international students, especially in Taiwan.
